Horizons Line

Without question the most consistently popular collection from The Silent Sea, Horizons Line sprang from another series called Weather Patterns, part of my environmental portfolio. In that project I make one photograph every day at the shoreline, returning home immediately following to get on with the day. At a later date I compile accumulations into large grids that speak to the new records constantly being set with the advance of climate change. That project is now in its 13th year.

After moving to Victoria from Cortes and continuing the series looking out over the Straight of Juan de Fuca, I started to stay a little longer and make a second exposure to capture some of so many stunning weather conditions. They became the photographs you see here.

Quality

Printed with pigment inks on heavyweight cotton rag paper. These archival, museum quality prints will last for generations to come.

Every size is restricted to 10 prints only, each carefully hand numbered, titled, and signed by the artist.

Frames are not included.
